Our plans to row the Celtic Challenge on the May Day Bank Holiday weekend have hit a problem....finding a RIB and crew to support us across the Irish Sea. The race is run every two years and is the World's longest true rowing race covering 90 miles from Arklow to Aberystwyth.
Our requirement is for a RIB of over 4m length which is rated and insured for the open waters of the Irish Sea. Also required is an altruistic crew who are happy to accept their costs and the challenge of the crossing as their reward; we can also guarantee their not wanting for a beer at the pub either!
So, if you are a RIB owner and are looking for a challenge where you can also help 12 hairy rowers, please get in touch here. The Celtic Challenge website can be found at http://www.celtic-challenge.org.uk/
